I am still relatively new to BookMooch, so forgive me if there's something I'm missing, but can anyone explain this?

A person requested a book from me. I accepted their request. Our points say this book cost them 2 points, and I received 3 points. I know this is how it works for international mooches, but we live in the same country. We both have US addresses.

Is this some kind of glitch, or is there a logical explaination I'm missing?

Contacted tech support. Requester's country wasn't set properly, but the problem has been fixed. (That was quickest I've ever heard back from any tech support ever. Frankly, I'm impressed!)
